Phil started out decking the halls at the end of November. I wish it weren't so cold outside; I would retake the photo so you can see the huge piles of snow in our front yard now. True love - a man who will go on an icy roof in frigid cold weather to put lights on the house for his wife. I wonder how far his love will go when it's time to take the lights down in frigid-ier weather.

Last year our Christmas decorations were pretty sparse since we were still working on the basement until Christmas Eve. This year we pulled out all the stops - two trees, even.

you're so classey. Such a grow-up. I want to just come and sit in your living room so I can feel like I have traveled INSIDE an issue of Better Homes & Gardens... (it means I like your decorations)
That looks so good. Our house usually isn't too Christmassy, and this year it is even less because of our lack of Maggie's "Christmas cheer," one might say. But we DO have a really pretty table centerpiece that mom set up!
Loverly! Very festive. I like the way your couch pillows always change with the season!
WOW! Your home looks like a magazine spread. Beautiful!
I forgot to say how great the lights look Philly.
Are you certain 3 children live in that home?
Beautimous! I love, love, love the window wreaths with big bows. Our base housing has those "lovely" metal blinds installed - so that option is just a no-go for me. I've wanted to do that for years now. One day though!.... It's all so pretty, it almost makes you want to keep it up all the time, eh?
Thanks, guys! I had so much fun with the decorations.
Krissie - I wish you could come sit on the couch and have a cup of coffee with me!
Amy - yes, I think it's going to be hard to take the decorations down after Christmas. I just love them!
David - I wish I knew who you were...someone who calls Phil Philly...not many of those people in the world.
Where's my snowflake?....I do believe it matches your current day-kor!...:)
