Slumber Party

While Phil and Henry were on their boys' camping adventure last night, we decided to have our first ever girls' slumber party. Here are the goods...

Food

Girls

The movie was Wives and Daughters - one of my favorites and very appropriate for girls' night. The girls made it through all five hours of Elizabeth Gaskell. In the morning, Kate asked if we could have breakfast (doughnut holes) in bed, as well. Um...yeah! You have to finish off a good slumber party with breakfast in bed. After Kate finished her doughnut holes, she started in on some leftover chips. As she's eating the chips she says, "This is the best day of my life." Then, as we were cleaning up, she says, "what was what we did last night called?" a slumber party.

all that loot cannot compare to burnt cinnamon rolls, fire and way too much moose drool.

Maybe not, but I did have running water and a clean toilet. That's worth a lot of drool to me.

The Cakesters are scary. Oreos in general scare me. I told the girls they could have whatever they wanted - Christmas!!!

I ate almost the whole bowl of popcorn and they ate everything else.

Oh, you have got to see Cranford... you will love it. I enjoyed North and South, and now I can't wait to see Wives and Daughters.

What's funny and slightly embarrasing, is that when I looked at all that food, I was like "wow, those nectarines and grapes really good!"
