Learning to Read

Kate has been learning to read for the past couple months. She wants to write things all day long. She writes her own books and is constantly asking things like, "What does P-O-R-T-F-O-L-I-O spell?" She does NOT want to be stopped in the middle of the word, either. Even if you know where she's going with it.

Then she asks, "How do you spell 'there was once a hippopotamus who was playing in the bathtub and ate lollipops'?" It's very tedious, but wonderful; all at the same time.
